Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
By contracting any DONELIX service, you accept these terms in full. Please read them carefully before confirming any project.
1. Project scope
Every project starts with an accepted written proposal including: description of deliverables, total fixed price, estimated timeline, and number of revisions included. No work begins without express written acceptance (email or chat is valid). If the project changes, an additional proposal is issued before continuing.
2. Payments
Standard structure: 50% upfront to start and 50% on delivery of the final work. Projects under $150 (or equivalent): 100% upfront.
Accepted method: PayPal (formal invoice with buyer protection). Work starts upon receipt of the initial payment. Invoicing is done under the DONELIX commercial name.
3. Revisions
Every project includes 2 rounds of revision within the original scope (minor adjustments to what was delivered). Changes outside scope (new features, additional pages, change of direction) generate a new fixed-price proposal. Revisions must be sent as a single consolidated request per round.
4. Timelines
Timelines start when both the initial payment and all needed materials (text, images, access, briefing) are received simultaneously. Delays in the client providing materials extend the timeline proportionally.
5. Intellectual property
On full payment, the client receives all rights to the work for the agreed use. DONELIX retains the right to show the work in its portfolio, unless an NDA is signed before the start. Materials provided by the client remain their exclusive property. Until full payment, rights to the work remain with DONELIX.
6. Refunds and cancellations
- Before work begins: full refund of the initial payment.
- With work in progress: proportional refund for the unexecuted part.
- Work delivered and approved: non-refundable.
In case of dispute, the PayPal mechanism is the standard resolution channel.
7. Tools and production process
DONELIX uses professional production software and tools with final human review, editing, and control over every delivery. If a project requires specific restrictions on methods or tools, the client must state this in writing before confirming; DONELIX will confirm whether it can meet them or decline the project before receiving payment.
8. Confidentiality
Client information is strictly confidential and used only to deliver the project. It is not shared with third parties except by legal obligation. A formal NDA is offered on request before the start.
9. Official communication
Official channel: support@donelix.com and the site chat. Typical response time: under 24 hours on business days. Relevant communications must be made through written channels for traceability.
10. Limitation of liability
DONELIX is not liable for loss of profits or data from use of the deliverables, errors from incorrect client materials, third-party interruptions (hosting, platforms, APIs), or post-delivery algorithm changes. Maximum liability is limited to the amount charged for the project in dispute.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law applicable to the studio owner, without prejudice to the consumer rights of the client's country. Both parties will attempt an amicable resolution within 30 days before legal action. The PayPal mechanism is the preferred channel for payment conflicts.
12. Modifications
DONELIX may update these terms; changes are posted here with the date. Ongoing projects are governed by the terms in force when accepted. This document is a general informational template and does not constitute legal advice.
